Automotive Blast Finishing Vehicle Refinishing, Part Refurbishment and Commercial Blast Cleaning are very popular industries and vastly different from each other. Hodge Clemco offers tailored solutions to the vehicle refinishing industry, which encompasses the cleaning and restoration of Alloy Wheels, Sports Car and Classic Car Restoration.

Alloy Wheel restoration can be carried out in a fixed pressure blast cabinet or in our purpose-designed mobile facility. Designed as an insert for the Mercedes Sprinter range of vans, the units are a mobile workshop including everything you need to refurbish alloy wheels, effectively a business on wheels! These Hodge Clemco designed mobile units are in operation throughout the country, specialising in prestige car dealerships and offer a complete refinishing solution.

Sports and classic cars are often cherished by their owners. The care taken in restoring a vehicle to its former glory is also shown by Hodge Clemco and our commitment to precise blast cleaning systems. Controllable pressure blast machines with accurate air flow and grit control ensure that selective and delicate blast cleaning can be undertaken. When used with the correct abrasive, vehicle panels can be stripped of old paint and rust, without damage or warping which can occur on lesser machines.

Alternators, starter motors, fuel pumps and engine parts can all be restored to pristine condition using a blast cabinet. The use of Aluminium Oxide or Glass Bead can restore the engine parts to a show room finish. Commercial Refinishing includes the renovation of trailers, cranes and heavy mobile plant. Our range of internal and externally located blast booths are designed for heavy plant and machinery. Partial and full underfloor grit recovery units are offered in addition to a range of recycling systems. Hodge Clemco has a standard range of booth sizes although our engineering department can cater for our clients' exact requirements.

Hodge Clemco abrasive options include the full size spectrum of Aluminium Oxide, Glass Bead, Garnet and Chilled Iron. JBlast is also available for this application for site specific applications.
