Roll bar handles protecting operator and valve work; Low centre of gravity for easy movement; Large bore pipework for efficient airflow; Large access plate for easy maintenance; Unique pop up valve allows operation at very low pressures when used in conjunction with a factory fitted pressure regulator.



Our Contractor range is available in four capacity sizes with a choice of metering valve. A standard and high pressure version are also available.

The 1448NC Softclean unit has been designed for the restoration and renovation industry. It is capable of handling all the abrasive media in the Hodge Clemco range, but has special design features to facilitate the delivery of micro abrasives such as calcium carbonate and bicarbonate of soda.

With an operating pressure as low as 0.5 bar / 8 psi the Softclean offers unlimited cleaning potential and is able to tackle delicate tasks such as the cleaning of furniture, domestic woodwork such as doors, staircases and window frames, antique vehicles, faced brickwork, plasterboard and delicate stonework right up to the cleaning of heavy steelwork and concrete removal.

The Softclean operates dry, but can be fitted with the Kleenblast water injection kit to suppress airborne dust.

By combining Hodge Clemco standard portable blast cleaning equipment and an abrasive recovery system an effective and efficient close circuit blast system has been developed. Our Eductoblast is air powered and ideally suited for use with recyclable abrasives. A smaller closed circuit suction unit, the Eductomatic, is available where portability is the primary selection criteria. All closed circuit blasting units collect the spent material, remove any contamination and feed clean recycled grit back to the blast nozzle. Closed circuit blast machines are used on applications where containing airborne abrasive and dust is essential, especially in areas where other personnel are working. These machines provide a low cost and efficient means for in-situ cleaning.

Our robust Aquagrit slurry blast units are ideal for heavy industrial cleaning applications. The abrasive media is totally saturated in water within the system fully arresting any airborne fines and dust during the blasting process. Recommended abrasives are from particles of 1mm and above.

Typical applications for these machines include cleaning of ship hulls, tank internals, general steel fabrication and any other processes where low dust emissions are essential.

The IBIX range of ultra portable blast machines are designed with portability in mind. The unique IBIMAR range has low maintenance and can easily be taken into confined areas making it ideal for shipping and offshore industries.

The high grade aluminium construction makes the unit very light and at the same time robust. Wheels are fitted to allow the unit to be towed in a trolly form but the IBIX machines can also be operated like a back-pack.

Two versions of this machine are available to suit most budgets and application requirements.

Unlike conventional blast pots the IBIX units utilize a unique pistol style gun and nozzle arrangement which doubles as a deadman system for safety reasons.

Our specialised machines include power injection guns which are designed for portable use without a pressure vessel, SG300 suction guns for light duty blasting when low air volumes are available and large capacity blast machines with multiple outlets for extended working between pot fill ups. Hodge Clemco pipe cleaning tools are designed to blast clean the interior of pipes, tubes, flues, etc, removing stubborn milscale, rust, carbon, coke, paint, etc. The cleaning action leaves the surface free from dust, abrasive and contaminants ready for the application of long life coating systems. Hodge Clemco's cleaning tools are suitable for both new and existing installation with complete 360° coverage without the need to rotate the component. Tools simply couple via a blast hose to a suitable blast cleaning machine and are designed for one man operation. Also are available is a range of internal pipe coating tools.
